Our stand

At Christies Gone Bananas we offer a variety of frozen fruit treats! Frozen bananas dipped in chocolate, a rotating selection of homemade popsicles showcasing the seasonal fruits of our regional farmers with a tropical cocktail bar vibe. Don’t worry folks, all our treats are non-alcoholic, gluten free, and most are even dairy free. We built the stand out of used pallets, reclaimed lumber from an old barn on the property and some new lumber to tie it all together. Our hope was to blend the typical island fruit stand and the ubiquitous Vermont honor stand, while sustainably growing and sourcing local ingredients when we can. Everything is homemade while practicing strict sanitation and monitoring all CDC/health precautions and guidelines.

The original stand has a new look! Faced with locally sourced re-claimed pine. When we first ran the banana stand we were renting the property. As of September 2024 we are now the permanent owners of the property.

Having re-opened in the summer of 2025, the banana stand is now a self-serve honor stand 90% of the time. One day a month, we open the stand and greet our guests, share stories and raise money for local non-profits.
