our roots

Our idea was seeded throughout multiple trips to Puerto Rico and securing our love while eloping in Hawaii. During our travels we were always so gratified to find local ‘makers’ who provided frozen fruit treats with local ingredients near or even on the beach. Our thirst for travel and water always makes us feel at home on islands, so Grand Isle called us and we decided to stay. When our trips would come to an end and we returned to our beautiful island oasis we were always left thinking “How do we fuse that tropical esthetic, that warm feeling, and that local vibe, with a rustic Vermont farm stand?” With a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts and a real sense of community, we are members of our local Champlain Island Farmers Market, we work and source as much fruit as we can from local farmers. We find so much joy in the simplicity of things like art, music, gardens and continuous growth and understanding of life. Enjoy the small & simple things.
